Misc. Engine / Car Repairs I (myself) Have Done: |
|
I bought the car with about 81,000 miles on it (May 17, 1999). With a four speed automatic
transmission, and a six cylinder, 3.0L engine, this car
has quite a bit of power. I love its acceleration when compared to the old Dodge. There
are all sorts of cool little features that I love about it that I didn't have with the
Aries. It has a really cool safety feature that locks the doors when the car goes over
15 miles per hour. I can't get enough of the convertable top; I have quite a farmer's tan
from driving around too much. I like the "gas low" bell and light, at about 1/8th of a tank
the bell chimes and the little gas pump light comes on to remind me to fill up. Now that I
have a tach, I can tell what RPMs my car shifts at. The interior "mood" lighting (as my
sister calls it) is much different than in a hard topped car. Instead of having a dome
light (that shines right on your head) there are only lights on the door ends, behind the
console and two underneath the rearview mirror (they can be switched on or off, as not to
disturb the driver). These are just a few of the many things I really like about the
LeBaron, if you have one I hope you like yours as much as I like mine.
As you may have read on the front page, I was robbed.
Some asshole(s) broke into my Aries through the passenger side window. They stole my
stereo, my box, my amp, and my rollerblades, and probably more stuff that I haven't
thought of.

Now on with the pictures!
|
Obviously the front, with the chrome grill.
I really like the chrome accents all over the car.
|
|
Here is the back of the car. It was too bright the day I took this picture.
I like how it looks from the back, but still have to wax it.
|
|
Here is a shot from the side, with the corner of my house. This parking spot is perfect
for taking these pictures, it makes it look real professional... =-)
|
|
This is the front of the car. It doesn't have a front license plate holder like some other
LeBarons do.
|
|
This is a shot from the side. I took this a day after I installed my new
suspension.
|
|
This is obviously the inside, the seats are a little stained from a
leaking roof (doesn't leak very much anymore). This picture is old,
I need to take a new one with my dashmat... Click on the picture to
see before and after(s) of the dash.

|
Here is the 3.0L V6 engine, nice and powerful!.
Especially with the new intake I added!
|
This car has replaced the old "Spikey" mobile.
It is much nicer, and much faster. I am pleased to report that the
old broken into Dodge has been donated to a friend
in need. I hope that the old Aries will live on to
travel another 100,000 miles, in the care of Rachael's brother Benjamin.
